Basic KowBee Recipe
Add 3 tablespoons of dry KowBee product (always mix KowBee thoroughly before measuring) to 1/2 to 2/3 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup warm water and 1/2 cup vegetable oil for each 5 pounds of meat. Adjust recipe according to the amount of meat you are preparing. Marinate in the refrigerator. Marinate beef at least 1 hour, chicken for at least 2 hours and fish and seafood for a minimum of 1/2 hour.
Add 1 to 1½ tablespoons of the dry KowBee product (always mix KowBee thoroughly before measuring) for each pound of burger you are preparing. If you like, you can add a little soy sauce or Worcestershire sauce. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or so before cooking (this is to allow the dehydrated onions in the mix to reconstitute). This also works quite well with ground turkey or chicken. For veggie burgers, prepare liquid marinade as directed above (Basic KowBee Recipe). Marinate burgers in liquid in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour). Cook and enjoy!
Prepare hamburger as in the KowBee Burger recipe above. Add one egg, 1/4 cup to 1/2 cup of bread crumbs and 2 to 3 tablespoons of soy sauce (optional) for two pounds of burger. Cook and enjoy! These are delicious topped with a sweet and sour sauce.
Add 1 to 1½ teaspoons (for a 3 egg omelette) of KowBee dry mix to whipped eggs to which you have added water or milk. Refrigerate for approximately 20-30 minutes. Cook and enjoy!
KowBee Meat Loaf
Prepare your favorite meat loaf recipe, omitting spices. Add approximately 1½ to 2 teaspoons of the dry KowBee mix for each pound of meat. Mix thoroughly in the meat. You may want to omit onions, as KowBee contains both dehydrated yellow and green onions. Also, you may want to add salt, as there is no sodium in KowBee. Refrigerate the meat for approximately 1 hour before cooking. Enjoy!
KowBee Pork Loin
Prepare KowBee marinade adjusting the basic recipe for the amount of meat you are preparing. Pierce the meat with a skewer or two-tined fork approximately 3 to 4 times on each side of the loin. Place marinade and loin in a large zip lock plastic bag, removing air as you seal it. Refrigerate and marinate overnight or for a minimum of 6 to 7 hours. Cook and enjoy!
For each pound of vegetables, combine 2 teaspoons of the dry KowBee product to 1/2 cup of soy sauce, 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup of oil in a zip lock bag. Make certain that the vegetables are completely submerged in liquid (add more water if necessary). Remove as much air from the bag as possible before closings. Marinate in the refrigerator at least 4 hours (or overnight if you prefer). Cook and enjoy!
KowBee Jumbo Shrimp
